Use a tape called "Flexible ID White, 18mm". This way I get nice long bar-codes with smal text underneath. I can write anything and my Quantum Superloader 3 does not have any problems scanning my lables. I think you have to print from P-touch Editor software or else the bar codes are too narrow if you print directly from the labeling machine. I tried that too and it didn't work.
